Montserrat Fuentes named UI executive vice president and provost

BY: OFFICE OF STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION   Montserrat (Montse) Fuentes, dean and professor in the College of Humanities & Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, has been named the University of Iowa’s new executive vice president and provost. She will begin on June 28.
