Donating to the Parents' Fund

The Parents Fund for Student Support helps foster valuable connections between parents and daily life on the UI campus. With annual gifts, donors help build a remarkable college experience for today's Hawkeyes. Requests for allocation of these funds are presented to the Parent Association Advisory Board for review and recommendation.

Past initiatives funded included programs like Welcome Week and Family Weekend, the Late Night at Iowa -- a grant program for student-created, non-alcoholic, late-night programs on Friday and Saturday nights. Other initiatives serve as important bridges between UI students and their families back home. Family Calendar, Family Weekend, the Talking with College Students About Alcohol handbook, and the Mom and Dad of the Year award, for instance, are designed to help you remain connected with your Hawkeye. This fund also provides support for the Wellness Center in the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.

Support Student Life

A gift to the Division of Student Life ensures we provide our students with a world-class experience, within and beyond the classroom. Private giving makes a significant impact on the division's ability to serve and care for students by allowing generations of Hawkeyes access to state-of-the-art programs, services, and facilities. It’s through our donor’s generosity we are able to ensure the success of our students now and in the future, as proud Hawkeye alumni. Won’t you consider making a gift today?
