Below is a list of live Zoom opportunities hosted by the University Counseling Service (UCS) for the spring semester. These are opportunities for University of Iowa students regardless of their current location, and intended to provide support and information while normal operating procedures at the university are suspended in response to COVID-19.
- Let's Talk, Hawks! is a drop-in consultation service that provides students with an opportunity to have an informal, confidential, anonymous conversation with a UCS therapist. Students can share mental health concerns, work on problem solving, learn about useful campus and community resources, or ask questions about counseling and UCS. Consultations are first come, first served; brief (up to 15 minutes); and anonymous. This is not a counseling or crisis service.
- Weekly, Mondays 12:30-1:20pm
- Hosted by Dawn Bates, PhD, through Zoom.
